Caring for Your Sonicare

Here are some basic tips on how to keep your Sonicare clean. All you will need is a mild soap, water and a moist cloth.

After each use

The Sonicare brush heads are specially designed to create dynamic cleaning action through sonic technology. Sonicare recommends that you replace your brush head every 3 months to achieve optimal results. Brush heads should be replaced even if they don't look worn because an overly used brush head compromises the effectiveness of your Sonicare toothbrush.

Once a week

To remove the brush head from the handle, unscrew the cuff that attaches the brush head to the handle. Wipe away any residue you find, including the area covered by the cuff, with a soft cloth or paper towel. To clean your handle, run a damp cloth around the recessed area once a week.

As needed

The charger base only needs to be cleaned periodically. Unplug the charger before cleaning. Mild soap and plain water are recommended for cleaning the charger base. Unplug the base then run a soft cloth or paper towel around it.

IMPORTANT: Never put the charger under water. After cleaning the charger base, completely dry the charger before plugging it into an electrical socket.
