About Deluxe Recharge Gauge

How it Works

On models that include the Deluxe Recharge Gauge, anytime the toothbrush handle is charging, the green charge indicator LEDs will blink in a rising pattern. The relative height of the pattern indicates the battery's approximate percentage of charge.

When the battery reaches full charge, the blinking LEDs are replaced by a steady glow of the entire LED array. About once per minute, the charge indicator LEDs extinguish momentarily and then restore to a steady glow. This indicates that the battery is being maintained at full charge. The full charge indication will persist until the handle is removed from the charger base.

The blinking yellow LED indicates that fewer than 3 brushings remain.

Benefits

You will always know the exact charge status of your brush. While it is recommended that you keep your Sonicare in the charger base when not in use to maintain a full battery charge, the Deluxe Recharge Gauge allows you to only charge your brush when it needs it. This feature comes in handy if you share a charger base with others or when you want to take your toothbrush with you and leave your charger base behind. A fully charged Sonicare typically provides 14 days worth of brushing, allowing for twice daily 2-minute brushings.

About the Recharge Indicator

How it Works

If your Sonicare features a Recharge Indicator and the handle is placed into the charger, the charge indicator LED will blink green as the battery charges. When the battery reaches full charge, the charge indicator LED will glow steady green until the handle is removed from the charger base.

When your Sonicare is turned on or off, the charge indicator LED will blink yellow if the battery charge is low. You will be notified that you have 3 or fewer brushings remaining. The Recharge Indicator signals you to recharge your Sonicare toothbrush with 3 rapid beeps (Elite models) or 5 rapid beeps (Advance models) after the 2-minute cycle is complete.
